First attempt at blogging

Hi everyone!
I've decided to attempt a blog to keep you all current on the happenings in Missouri. Everything is going great here. Zachary is thriving and is already 10 weeks old! He does something new everyday & he never ceases to amaze me. His new thing is "talking" he will lay on his back, or tummy and just talk to us. We talk back & leave little pauses for him to answer us and he pretty much always responds at the correct times. :) I read in one of my baby books, it's a really good way to teach them conversation skills even at such a young age! He's pretty much sleeping through the night ( knock on wood) for a baby his age STTN is considered 5 hours at a time, and we USUALLY get 5-7 hours the first stretch & then another 2-3 hours after a feeding.
Brianna is doing pretty well in school. We took her off of her medicine for ADD & are exploring other options for her as far as treatment. The meds were she on were making her very withdrawn & actually pretty mean ( which is not like her at all!). Since taking her off the meds, we have to stay on top of her with focusing on school & stuff but she is a much more loving child & is back to her sweet self. She always wants to help with Zachary and is a great big sister!
Jason is going back to doing mainly home health. He will do the study stuff, for 20 hours a week and the rest is seeing patients. I feel bad for him b/c I know he feels like he missed alot the past 10 weeks with Zachary & when he does home health he can have these opportunities to make his own schedule again & still provide a very good living for his family.
As far as me, I am doing really well. Still trying to lose the rest of the baby weight. I have about 10 lbs to go to reach my pre-pg weight. It's been hard since I had a C-section my muscles are pretty much shot & anything too strenous really hurts still. So I am trying to walk & also do stomach crunches. It's a long battle, but I am working on it! I go back to work a week from Monday & I'm sad about it. I'm going to miss Zachary a ton, but I am also looking forward to having the adult interaction again & getting back into some sort of routine. I took 12 weeks off with Zachary & it will be hard getting used to getting up & going to work again. Well that's my first attempt at blogging. I'm going to try to write every other day or so, or when circumstances warrant it. I hope you enjoy keeping up with us! We love you all :)
